Minnehaha Steamboat and Museum of Lake Minnetonka

Description

The century-old Minnehaha steamboat is a restored "streetcar boat". It laid on the bottom of Lake Minnetonka until discovered in 1979 and was raised in 1980. Volunteers worked six years on its restoration and put it back on the Lake in 1996. Managed by the Museum of Lake Minnetonka, weekend steamboat service is offered between Excelsior and Wayzata Memorial Day to mid October.
