Monterey Bay Aquarium

Description

Located in the heart of Monterey Bay in Cannery Row, the Aquarium showcases sea otters, kelp forests, sharks, jellyfish, a dancing school of sardines, and an informative children’s area with touch tanks and interactive exhibits. It also offers the chance to step into the sea air and spot mammals and birds from the shore. Come early: There’s more to see than you might imagine—not to mention an assortment of special tours. And, if time allows, rent a kayak for some time on the bay.
