Mount Pleasant Church

Description

This charming rural church is well worth a visit. Built in 1899, the church is surrounded by silver maples and a small mixed grove of osage orange, northern capalpa, and black walnut trees. Just a short walk east of the church you’ll find a small pot hole wetlands which hosts a variety of the wetlands community from waterbirds to barred tiger salamanders.
