Muskegon Art Museum

Description

Once known as a major producer of America's lumber, Muskegon was once known as the "Lumber Queen of the World." But as sawmills eventually shut down, community leaders shifted their focus to saving the legacy of Muskegon. These days, this museum is a centerpiece of local culture, with collections including graphic art, African American sculpture, canvas paintings, and more.
