Myrtle Beach State Park

Description

This 312-acre preserve is South Carolina's oldest state park, built by the Civilian Conservation Corps in the 1930s. Coastal appreciation programs let you explore the mile-long beach and learn about whales, sharks, and sea turtles. The park's Sculptured Oak Nature Trail takes you through maritime forest.
