National Eagle Center

Because the Mississippi River doesn’t freeze near Wabasha, you can see bald eagles in the wild here almost any time of year. You’ll definitely see them, as well as golden eagles and other raptors, at the National Eagle Center. Check out the five resident rescue birds (Angel, Columbia, Donald, Harriet, and Was’aka) and one of the live, 45-minute, naturalist-led presentations held daily at 11, 1, and 3.
