Nickels-Sortwell House


Located on Wiscasset's Main Street, the Nickels-Sortwell House is a Federal-style architecture home built by ship owner Captain William Nickels. Those represents a time when ship-building was a prosperous career that brought sophistication and wealth to families. Visitors can take a guided tour at the house during summer and fall months. After the tour, you can visit nearby Castle Tucker.
