Nightclub 9:30 is Washington's premiere alternative rock club. Then-unknown bands like R.E.M. and Nirvana trod the boards at the original venue. Since moving to their larger, 900-capacity location in 1996, the club has offered great music in a multi-level setting, with four full bars as well as coffee and food for those who have to drive home.
