Old Blandford Church

Although the church itself dates from 1735, its exceptional Tiffany stained glass windows created in the early 20th century are dedicated to the memory of the Confederate dead. In 1886, the first Memorial Day was commemorated here at the cemetery where 30,000 Confederate soldiers are buried. The church is on Rochelle Lane just off S. Crater Road.
