Old Prairie Town at Ward-Meade Historic Site

Description

On a high bluff overlooking the Kansas River, Ward-Meade Park is a six-acre complex that includes a frontier log cabin, Victorian Mansion, growing Kansas prairie town, and an expansive 2.5-acre botanical garden. In addition the site has an authentic drug store, schoolhouse, and depot, and is on the National Register of Historic Places.
