Pomona Natural Bridge

Description

Carved by wind and water, the Pomona Natural Bridge spans a 90-foot void 25 feet above a trickling stream. A lesson in nature's strength and artistry, the bridge is surrounded by the towering treetops of Shawnee National Forest. It's the perfect place to enjoy lunch and a post-picnic hike. The area near the bridge includes fire rings, tables, rest rooms, and assorted members of the local wildlife population -- squirrels, birds, and deer. The bridge is just north of Pomona.
