Quaker Whaler House

Description

The Quaker Whaler House, a historic home and museum originally built in 1786, is the oldest standing home in Dartmouth. Architecturally, it's built in a similar style to early Nantucket Island homes, with wood-shingled cladding, heavy-timbered framing, and a gabled roof. The museum is open seasonally to the public during summer months. Guided group tours are available.
