Runge Nature Center

The trails and exhibits here help you better appreciate Missouri's natural habitats. In addition to a wildlife viewing area, there's a 3,580-gallon aquarium, a collection of live reptiles and amphibians, and many hands-on activities. A nature library and a small gift shop round out the indoor offerings. Outdoors, you can climb a 60-foot water tower and explore over 2 miles of hiking trails, one of which is accessible to people with disabilities. Self-guided and naturalist-led tours (by appointment) are both options. Admission is free.
