Saint Paul Hotel

Built in 1910, the 254-room grand dame of St. Paul hospitality is in the heart of the capital. Amenities include a rooftop fitness facility and the first-floor St. Paul Grill, with its prime steaks. Rooms are elegant, with mahogany armoires and poster beds; tufted velvet chairs; and granite bathroom vanities. Many have views of Rice Park and its charming bronze sculptures of Charlie Brown and the gang—a nod to the fact that the city is the birthplace of Peanuts cartoonist Charles M. Schulz.
