Sargent House Museum

Description

The Sargent House Museum is a historic home and museum that once housed sea merchants, patriots, and several community leaders. The Georgian-style home, built in 1782, allows visitors to understand the early history of Gloucester. Exhibits include a collection of original works from painter John Singer Sargent. The museum is open seasonally.
