Silverado Museum

Description

Opened in 1969, Silverado Museum was originally housed in a stone building called The Hatchery and relocated to St. Helena Public Library Center in 1979. The museum's world-renowned Stevensoniana collection began as Norman H. Strouse's personal collection of Robert Louis Stevenson's literary work. He and his wife devoted the museum to the writer's life and works.
