Simi Winery

Description

Brothers Giuseppe and Pietro Simi conceived Simi Winery in 1876 when they moved to San Francisco during California's Gold Rush. They relocated to Sonoma County where the hills mirrored their home in Tuscany, Italy in 1881 and constructed the historic stone cellar that remains today. The Winery now includes vineyards in both Alexander Valley and the Russian River Valley for a combined 720 acres. The Simi Visitor Center is open daily for tours, tastings, sales, and pizza in the summer.
