Sitka National Historic Park

Description

Established in 1910 in honor of the Battle of Sitka, Sitka National Historic Park is Alaska's oldest federally designated park. Visitors can view cultural totem poles, Tlingit Fort from the decisive battle, and the Russian Bishop's House. The Indian River runs through the park, which is surrounded by Mount Verstovia, Arrowhead Peak, the Sisters, and Gavan Hill.
