Sleeping Giant Provincial Park

Description

The Sleeping Giant is actually a formation of a table mountain and volcanic rock that merely looks like a giant when viewed from the West to the North on Thunder Bay. With spectacular views of Lake Superior and a chance to view natural wildlife such as deer and moose, you'll be convinced that this park should be renamed Sleeping Beauty. For an active experience, take a hike down both rugged and smooth trails and set up a tent in the campgrounds to recover later.
