State Railroad Museum

Description

The Nevada State Railroad Museum in Carson City tells the story of the Virginia and Truckee Railroad and other railroads, locomotives, and cars that contributed to the state's heritage. Visitors can experience train and handcar rides, lectures, changing exhibits, an annual symposium, and various events. A total of 65 locomotives are on display, some made famous on TV or in movies.
