Territorial Enterprise Museum

Description

This structure served as the third office of the Territorial Enterprise, Nevada's first newspaper. The 19th century commercial style, brick building was constructed in 1876 and housed the first steam-powered press in the state. The Territorial Enterprise Building now serves as the Mark Twain Museum as the writer began his flamboyant journalism here before the weekly shut down in 1916.
