The Rockwell Museum

Local department store owner Bob Rockwell’s fascination with the history and art of the American West began as a child on his family’s Colorado ranch. His collection of paintings and sculptures is now housed in a striking Romanesque-Gothic building that was once city hall. Themed galleries explore the American experience. The museum’s famous pieces of Western art by Frederic Remington and Charles M. Russell are in the Remington and Russell gallery. Other galleries include Visions of America and Wildlife.
