The Shepherd of the Hills

This outdoor drama features a cast of more than 90 actors, as well as horses, donkeys, mules, and sheep. It’s held on the grounds of the Ross family homestead (site of a cabin that’s on the National Register of Historic Places) and is adapted from Harold Bell Wright’s novel, which ignited America’s fascination with the Ozark mountain country. Other attractions include horseback riding, zip-lining, and a Jeep-drawn tram tour with stops at numerous points of interest.
