Tombstone Courthouse State Historic Park

Description

Tombstone Courthouse once hosted the sheriff, jail, recorder, treasurer, courtrooms, and board of supervisors when Cochise County was a silver mining boomtown. Today the Victorian building shaped like a Roman cross serves as a State Historic Park with exhibits of guns, brothel operating licenses, an invitation to a hanging, and a gallows replica. A model sheriff's office and courtroom, picnic area, and gift shop are also on site.
