Union County Heritage Museum

Description

The rural culture of Mississippi is celebrated at this museum. An outdoor exhibit shows early 20th century life through replicas of a blacksmith shop, a doctor’s office, and more. Five galleries contain artifacts, which range from the flamboyant hats of Southern belles to the archaeological remains of prehistoric animals such as the wooly mammoth and the saber tooth tiger.
