Wallace State Park

Description

The rugged, wooded area surrounded by rolling farmland offers bird watching and nature study along four scenic hiking trails. Camping areas include individual and youth group sites and reservations are taken. Amenities include modern restrooms, showers, a dump station, and playground. Other popular activities include fishing or swimming in the six-acre lake or picnicking. Pets: Leashed pets are permitted. Reservations and fees: Missouri has a central telephone number for all state parks: 877-422-6766. For those campgrounds accepting reservations, there is a nonrefundable fee for each reservation made.
