Walter Anderson Museum

Description

Considered to be a definitive voice of American art in the 20th century, Walter Inglis Anderson's interpretation of life in the Gulf Coast comes alive through his paintings of people, plants, and animals. Guided tours provide information about the pieces as well as an opportunity to use your inner artist to create prints and sculptures of your own. Exhibits aren't just limited to this museum's namesake — past galleries include basket art, murals, and photography.
