Wildwood Stables Acadia National Park, Maine

Description

Traverse some of the park's remote roads and hear about its interesting history (including stories of "Rockefeller's teeth") on a horse-drawn carriage ride. Guides at Wildwood Stable halt horses to point out hawks overhead or panoramic views and explain how John D. Rockefeller Jr.'s team constructed the park's carriage roads in the early 1900s.
