Woodbury Pewter

There’s something very appealing about the weight, texture, and color of pewter, a soft metal alloy used for items ranging from tankards and plates to candlesticks and trophies. Until the Civil War, much of this country’s tableware was made of pewter, and some of the best came from Connecticut.

The craftsmanship continues today at renowned Woodbury Pewter, which still offers more than 500 classic and contemporary items, including a line of custom holiday ornaments. You can find good deals on the company’s creations in its factory outlet, where the inventory also includes pewterware made by 40 other manufacturers from around the world.
