World Center for Birds of Prey

Description

The World Center for Birds of Prey is home to exciting exhibits on birds of prey, biology, ecology, and conservation. Take a guided tour or tour on your own and see a variety of raptors, including endangered California Condors and a rare Harpy Eagle. Enjoy daily educational presentations using live birds of prey, tour the Archives of Falconry, and take a stroll on the scenic interpretive trail. The Velma Morrison Interpretive Center houses numerous interactive displays for all ages, multimedia exhibits, and a gift shop. The interpretive center is open daily March to October and open Tuesday-Sunday from November to February. It is closed New Year’s Day, Easter, Thanksgiving, and Christmas.
