Description

Renowned for supplying the world with soybeans, feed corn, and mobile homes, the Hoosier state also boasts numerous contributions to the American cultural landscape. The lives and legacies of favorite sons Dan Quayle, James Dean, and Garfield the Cat are today enshrined in an odd cluster of northern Indiana exhibits as diverse as the figures they represent. Not to give short shrift to mobile homes as cultural icons in their own right -- even they have their own museum in Indiana.
