Start your journey at Bathhouse Row, located in Hot Springs National Park, and take a traditional bath at Buckstaff Bathhouse or nearby Arlington Resort Hotel and Spa, where you can enjoy the outdoor hot tub and a range of massage and spa services. Once you've thoroughly relaxed, drive up Hot Springs Mountain to the 216-foot-high Hot Springs Mountain Tower, for beautiful views of the city and mountains. After a tasty barbecue salad lunch at either Roland's Bar-B-Que on Higdon Ferry Road or McClard's Bar-B-Q on Albert Pike, drive southeast 15 miles to Lake Catherine State Park. At this park in Hot Springs, enjoy fishing and water sports on 40,000-acre Lake Catherine. For more luxurious surroundings, go south on AR 7 to DeGray Lake Resort State Park, nestled in the Ouachita Mountains. It's home to horseback riding, 18-hole golf, hiking, kayaking, and snorkeling, along with a 96-room lodge.
