Description

This tour begins in Mansfield, notable for its several interesting mansions. Kingwood Center, the 47-acre estate built in 1926, was home to Charles Kelley King and is open for tours. Also at the estate is a horticulture library, which houses 8,500 volumes of books about gardening. South of Mansfield, in Butler, is Malabar Farm State Park, the former estate of author Louis Bromfield, where Humphrey Bogart wed Lauren Bacall in 1945. Travel into the heart of Amish Country to see Behalt, a 265-foot cyclorama that illustrates the story of the Amish and Mennonite people.
