I've have had the privilege of traveling to many beautiful places in the US and beyond. I have yet to find any place the beats Charlevoix, MI.
I grew up in Charlevoix and still to this day I love it. It has all the recreation that anyone could want. Friendly people and make you always feel right at home. Beautiful lakes that make you want to dive right in. Just a great all around small town. You couldn't ask for more. It's not called Charlevoix the Beautiful for nothing.
Charlevoix has everything you'd want in a small town -- friendly locals, great schools, a hopping downtown, unparalleled beauty, ample recreational pursuits, and a drawbridge. Really, who wants to live anywhere that doesn't have a drawbridge?!? :)
been going there since i was a little boy now 48 love it also home of the swans from grand rapids michigan
4th generation from Charlevoix, we have lived in many states but Charlevoix will always be home. Great all around small town . Beautiful year around.
