Beautiful, quiet and peaceful slice of the Midwest. MUST stop and visit!
Wonderful small town, no stop lights, quaint beauty, friendly, good people, lots of interesting history, great food, world's best fudge and best hamburgers at a couple of places. Nauvoo Log Cabins provides a great room in a bit of unique history (real pioneer cabins rebuilt on site with modern amenities that don't interfere) available in no other town.
A tremendous view of the Mississippi River. An area rich in history with friendly people and good food.
