Historic Prescott was the capital of Arizona in the late 1800's. A beautiful downtown courthouse square with museums, great restaurants, shops and small city Arizona culture.
This town is a must see as it sits at 5000feet and is cool in the summer and only has a small winter period. Beauty is everywhere and it is still a small town by normal standards.

Fantastic town. I plan to relocate there in the next couple of years. The town square is beautiful and the city has a very lively downtown. Amazing scenery surrounds the area from forests, mountains, lakes and desert panoramas. It simply has it all.

For mountain bike fans - this town is great. plenty of great trails. Awesome climate - pretty much of year round access to trails, except of occasional days of snow. There are all different varieties of trails as far as challenges are concerned if you are worried about your skills you can start off on easier trails and build up your skills as you feel comfortable. As the sport of mountain biking is gaining popularity, so are the number of riders in this town. There are events you can participate if you wish, or just keep on riding when you feel like it.

Prescott is a rare find in the Southwest. It has the lush green of the mountains, four temperate seasons, and the friendliness of the Old South.
