I was so inamered by it, I got lost exploring. Beautiful place! Lots to do!! Loved it!
If you love trains this is a must see. These are real steam narrow gauge trains. Don't worry about the length of the train ride the views are fantastic. Take your camera! We stayed at the KOA outside of town and enjoyed their hot cake and sausage breakfasts. Quick way to eat and then site see. We also traveled the million dollar highway going north from Durango, Fantastic views, just don't take your eyes off the road if you are driving. We will be back to Durango.

Durango is a wonderful place to visit whether you are going for scenery or fun. You can't miss: a train ride, a bike ride and a tube ride on the river!
This is a wonderful place for a family to visit! My 3 year old talks about the Durango train nearly every day since our visit last August!
We miss living there! Take the train from Durango to Silverton in the late Fall, beautiful.
