Description

Myrtle Beach has become a beloved family vacation destination. Home to 60 miles of uninterrupted beaches, the boardwalk has become the gateway to what TravelingJules described as “a bazillion things to do.”

There are four regions of Myrtle Beach, which offer a slightly different travel experience. Central Myrtle Beach is close to the airport and features several oceanfront hotels and resorts. It’s close to endless shopping and dining options, as well as the Myrtle Beach State Park. North Myrtle Beach offers campgrounds and the Grand Strand area, which encompasses Windy Hill, Crescent Beach, Ocean Drive, Cherry Grove, Atlantic Beach and Little River areas.

Wonderful Southern Hospitality; 60 miles of white sandy beaches; fantastic entertainent, shopping and cuisine! What more do you need?

Myrtle Beach is definitely the most family fun place in the US. I have lived in over 10 states and have visited almost all of them, but Myrtle Beach has it all. Friendly people, numerous attractions and events, plus Myrtle Beach is not as expensive as other resort areas.
