I once heard that San Mateo was one of the most culturally diverse places in the US and it shows in the variety of food you can find in this city.

The City of San Mateo is very walkable with lots of destinations. One of the best destinations is its beautiful, eco-friendly MAIN Library. It has three floors for residents and local business folk can spread out, use wifi, access online subscription databases, and sip coffee from its third floor cafe. We walk downtown often to meet friends and dine at one of the many restaurants. Downtown San Mateo is especially hopping in the evenings with young couples and entrepreneurs. We are at the upper part of the Silicon Valley and a short drive to the big city of San Francisco. The City of San Mateo rocks!

Divine food on the peninsula! An amazing assortment of traditional restaurants and bay area fusion cuisine.

San Mateo's food ROCKS!! This tiny town along the peninsula has everything your taste buds could possibly desire - from classics like Chinese and Italian to Brazilian and Lebanese, you will never have to eat the same thing twice! On hot days, you can chill out at T-Pumps for a refreshing boba drink, or on those particularly frosty mornings, there is a plethora of coffee shops to get your day rolling. Personally, the yogurt here is a huge incentive for me... and my heart breaks every time I see the bottom of the cup. :< San Mateo, you're awesome!
