We bought our home in 1998 because we thought the town was beautiful and loved the water access. After Hurricane Charlie in 2004, the town rebuilt and became even more beautiful..

When we moved to Punta Gorda from NY last year the community made us feel like we were lifetime residents. Even the Rays and Buccaneer fans overlooked our Jets/Mets/Yankee/Giants egos. Truly a special, welcoming place.

Punta Gorda IS Paradise. We moved here permanently in 2007 and have loved this small town and all it has to offer. It's beauty and charm and friendly people I don't think you can find anywhere else. And of course there is the weather!!!!
