I grew up here. My family was very involved in the City. Family had the Arvada Enterprise. An Uncle was Mayor. One Uncle at the Arvada Enterprise was a volunteer firefighter. Dad was in Jaycees and worked on Arvada Committees. Very close to the mountains. Always a beautiful day here in Arvada. Never leaving!!

I have lived in Arvada since I was born, 20 years ago. I never realized how great and beautiful a town it was until I went away for college. Arvada has a little bit of everything- mountains, landscape, shopping centers, and is near to Denver. The schools here are great, the town is safe, and everyone who lives here is friendly. I love my town, Vote Arvada!

Visitors to Historic Olde Town Arvada constantly comment that the reason they like it so much is how friendly everyone in the shops are. And that's not just business owners or employees, customers who don't know each other frequently engage in lengthy conversations with those they don't know while in one of our unique shops.

I've lived in Arvada for 15 years. There are parks, trails, playgrounds, tennis courts, and much more, often within walking distance from your home. The sun shines over 300 days a year and the Rocky Mountains are but a few miles away. Arvada's a great place to live!

If you've ever strolled along Grandview Avenue through Olde Town Arvada on a warm summer evening as the sun goes down, then you have known firsthand the kind of view that inspired Katherine Lee Bates when she wrote of purple mountain majesties in the lyrics to "America the Beautiful." From our lovely city perched above it all, you will see breathtaking views of the front range of the Rocky Mountains to the west, Pikes Peak to the south, and as the sun goes down, the pink-orange hues glinting off the skyline of Denver. Those of us lucky enough to live in Arvada know the meaning of Bate's words: "God shed His grace on thee."
