Buena Park boasts all kinds of fun in a vacation destination perfect for every age. From theme parks and attractions to interactive dinner theater and shopping, everyone can have fun in this small town. With close proximity to both Disneyland and Orange County Beaches, its even perfect for a day trip or weekend getaway.

America’s first theme park, Knott’s Berry Farm features roller coasters, family and children’s rides, entertainment and water and thrill rides. Visit Soak City Water Park after hitting all the attractions and make room for traveling and ongoing shows. The park offers snacks and shopping as well.

For local entertainment, try Medieval Times or Pirates Dinner Adventure for food and a family-friendly show. Also choose from parks, golf course, shopping and art in the area. Knott’s Independence Hall and the Buena Park Historical Society provide history while Buena Park Downtown and Knott’s Marketplace offer shopping and dining.

The community puts on a number of events throughout the year including parades, concerts and classes at the community center. Attend the free summer concert series, watch a civic theatre performance, or browse Saturday farmers markets at the downtown mall. See what else locals and tourists love about Buena Park in its reviews.

Buena Park is awesome! You can go to Knott's Berry Farm, Soak City, Medieval Times, Starbucks, and much more in one day, walking distance!

I grew up down the street. When I was younger we would go down to Knott's Berry Farm and ride these Old Time Cars for only .50 cents. As a kid we thought it was great. As I grew older and realized how popular Knott's was and what the city was trying to do with all the New Entertainment eateries I felt very blessed that I was able to watch such a small town grow to entertain thousands of visitors every year with a variety of things to do. It has been great raising my kids here and experience having so many things to do right down the street.

I remember as a kid, driving with my family, exiting the 5 fwy and the excitement building up because we would soon be driving down Beach Blvd towards Knott's Berry Farm. Now that I'm raising my own family here in Buena Park, I feel a need to get the "life" back IN to our "town". This too can be a revamp story - just like the fictional Radiator Springs. Why not, right? So many delicious eateries, shopping centers and of course KNOTT'S, MEDIEVAL TIMES and PIRATES DINNER ADVENTURE!!

Welcome to the California Welcome Ctr of OC where you are welcomed heartily as family locally and abroad. Awesome staff, knowledgable of their community, hospitable in demeanor, endearingly charming. Thank you Mr. Roger, and Mrs. Lois for your genuinenly kind spiritedness. Ha! and this is just our first stop in Buena Park! :))))) PAHawkins
