Punta Gorda is a friendly and beautiful place. There are parks along Charlotte Harbor. The harbor is the jewel of Punta Gorda for fishing, boating or walking along the Harborwalk (trail). Fishermen's Village is a unique mall of eateries and shopping on the harbor. Many types of events for everyone are held in downtown Punta Gorda. Many of these are either free or have a small admission. Day or night there is plenty to do in the safe environment of Punta Gorda.

We are so proud of our Paradise, Punta Gorda, the place we choose to live and die. We have never lived in a community more involved and friendlier than Punta Gorda. After Hurricane Charlie neighbor helped neighbor and then helped the city rebuild with a master plan that is being followed today. We are so beautiful today continuing to improve and grow more beautiful with the involvement of hundreds of residents volunteering time and expertise!

Punta Gorda Florida is beautiful hidden gem. Its small town atmosphere gives it a sense of community. I am a newcomer to PG and I just love it. It doesn't get any better than being a resident of Punta Gorda, Florida.
