We loved Punta Gorda so much we sold our house in Washington State and moved here two years ago! BEST place we have found in 49 of the 50 states we have visited.

Punta Gorda is a Community of Health & Wellness. We have bike trails, with a loaner program for visitors, waterfront parks, lovely historic town, nature preserves, kayaking, a sailing school on the Peace River, bird sanctuary, artelier, two country clubs, many gof courses. In other words, something for everyone.

Its a great boating and fishing area with perfect sunsets. Plenty of good eating and drinking places.
