Description

Pacifica, CA hosts parks and beaches with coastal, mountainous views and noteworthy sunsets. Only 20 minutes outside of San Francisco, the city cherishes its smaller town feel so close to the city.

Visitors love Rockaway Beach, the Pacifica Pier, Pedro Point, and Skyline Blvd. It’s also home to Frontierland Park, San Pedro County Park, and Mori Point. Linda Mar State Beach is a favorite destination with adventure-seekers interested in surfing, hiking, and biking.

Each year, Pacifica hosts the Pacific Coast Fog Festival during the last Saturday and Sunday of September. The festival offers a hometown parade, plenty of activities for children, and a variety of local artists, vendors, and performers.

You can explore the town using the free Gold Line Shuttle and stop by the Sanchez Art Center, Coastside Farmer’s Market, or Pacifica Skate Park. Be sure to see Portola’s Statue and capture the hills, mountains, and ocean on film.

Pacifica is only 20 minutes from downtown San Francisco which puts us close to everything one of the world's greatest city has to offer but it feels like it is much farther away from the BIG CITY. We have a beautiful coastline that is a mecca for local surfers. Linda Mar Beach is the most consistently surfable beach in the entire SF Bay Area and thanks to a bend in our coastline facing northwest, it is the only place in the Bay Area that is surfable when the south winds blow. We have many artists here of all kinds and a strong community of environmentalists who have made sure that our beautiful hills surrounding the town haven't been completed carpeted with homes.

Love my sleepy little beach town: it's only a few miles to the big city, but it seems years away when you're on the beach or in the valleys.

Pacifica has been our home for 8 years now, we moved from SF just 20 minutes away, now that's another great city so I know beauty. We live just walking distance from the beautiful beach and pier, have an amazing veiw of Mori Point from our window and even though we don't get to walk on the trails or sand everyday, we enjoy it immensely, it's like vacation living without having to drive so far! The parks are kid friendly and just walking in the nieghborhood is a treat for man, baby, toddler and mamas!

beautiful beaches! Great trails, very safe for kiddos. Small town feel even though you are located only minutes from san francisco.
