Costa Mesa is a GREAT spot for foodies! I love the little strip mall spots like Tandoori and Habana at the Lab Anti-Mall. Anjin is great Japanese and there is also a cute little pizza place called Ciao pizza that has the most amazing white pizza. I hope this town wins!!

South Coast Plaza is a really nice area of Southern California- lots of restaurants and great shopping. Check out Champagne French Bistro or Scott's Seafood! Very good.

Beach Pit Barbecue -- I love it! I've tried almost everything on the menu, we always go there when we visit our sister and brother-in-law. I love their cornbread, chili cheesy fries, there's nothing bad on the whole menu. Sinful maybe, but not bad. Friendly staff, it doesn't get better than this.
