Choosing a category is hard as we believe Punta Gorda is great in all the categories. However, that down home friendliness is probably dearest to our hearts. My specific corner of Paradise within the Punta Gorda area is a Burnt Store Marina. This is a great neighborhood offering 3 dining options; a large marina with great access; a fitness center with tennis and pool; the Burnt Store Golf & Activity Club with a 27 hole Golf Course and a vibrant Activity Club; and Platinum Point Yacht Club offering on and off water activities. BSM is a gated community with a wonderful variety of types of homes. You will find it centered between Punta Gorda and Cape Coral and it is right on Charlotte Harbor 9 miles east of the Boca Grande pass. We are proud to be a part of Punta Gorda and it has to offer.

Punta Gorda was the last stop on our road trip south to find the perfect town to live. We obviously saved the best for last. Beautiful sunsets, lovely harbor views, the best sailing on the east coast, wonderful restaurants, concerts, events and the friendliest people anywhere. This is definitely our little piece of paradise and "the most beautiful" place we could have chosen to live.

I found this beautiful small town three years ago. I love everything about it. It has a small town feel, but has a wonderful old world atmosphere. The people are great. They have every convenience you would need to live an idyllic life style. Art, music, crafts, and evening entertainment. Things for every age. Great food eateries and beautiful sunsets. We have festivals every weekend and a team of volunteers to make every event fabulous. Please come to visit and you won't want to leave. Every day is another day in paradise.
