Located between Interstate 64 and the Ohio River, tiny Santa Claus is a place where everyone feels like a kid. The town that honors Christmas all year has many year-round attractions: Holiday World & Splashin’ Safari, Santa’s Candy Castle, Christmas Lake Golf Course, the Santa Claus Museum, and Lake Rudolph Campground & RV Resort. It’s no wonder that it’s consistently a contender for Most Fun Small Town in the Best of the Road Rally. Amusements at the Holiday World & Splashin’ Safari theme and water park take their inspiration from holidays, including Thanksgiving, Halloween, and the 4th of July. The park, which attracts more than 1 million visitors annually, is also home to The Voyage, repeatedly cited as one of the world’s best wooden roller coasters. The Santa Claus Museum and Village chronicles the town’s history with artifacts, vintage toys, and documents---including letters to Santa from around the world. Indeed, in the early 1900s, the town experienced controversy due to the large influx of holiday mail. The original post office as well as the Santa Claus Church and Statue are also on site. Santa’s Stables offers horseback rides of varying lengths through trails in the woods as well as pony rides for smaller kids, who also appreciate Frosty’s Fun Center with mini-golf, games, and food. You can also enjoy shopping and dining locally with St. Nick’s Restaurant, the Santa Claus Christmas Store, and Kringle Place Shopping Center. A lodge and cottages are available in addition to the campground.

This town is small but has a world class theme park Holiday World. The street names are Christmas themed. They have a huge Christmas Light display in the winter months. There is alot to do in and around Santa Clause, IN.

Santa Claus, IN is a wonderful place to visit. They have a family owned amusement park called Holiday World and Splashin Safari that is a favorite with my family. We live in Ohio and go several times throughout the year. They have a wonderful campground right next door to Holiday World and Splashin Safari that we love to stay at too. Its very clean and they provide family activities including 7 halloween themed weekends where they offer trick or treating for the kids, costume contests, site decorating contests, dance parties, and hay rides through the campground. There is also the Santa Claus museum you can visit for free where you can learn about the town and its history that is very informing. There is also a unique place called Santa's Candy Castle where you can get frozen hot chocolate which is very good, different flavored candy canes, chat with Santas elves on the computer, and purchase gifts and even your own snow to make when you get home. There is Santas riding stabes where you can ride horses and there is no age requirement which makes it nice if you have small children. There is also a minature golf course called frostys that has pizza and ice cream you can enjoy after a game of golf. Its defintely a family friendly fun that has tons of fun things to do.

Santa Claus Indiana's Holiday World is the very best kept secret of amusement parks on the earth! This place is the most family friendly, cleanest, wholesome, FUN place hands down. My children have been to other parks and always vote to go back to Holiday World. The prices are very affordable!
