My family has been going to Geneva on the lake since 1920's my grandchildren make the 6th generation. We bought cozy cottages to own a little piece of G.O.T.L. We love people watching and seeing the hot rods and motorcycles. People are just friendlier by the lake, its a happy place to be.

I've been going to Geneva-on-the-Lake all of my life....don't ask how long but believe me, it is a long, long time. I love the fun of strollling through the strip, stopping for pizza or ice cream, playing a few games, hearing the music, seeing families have fun making memories together. There is something for everyone. I think the one place that I feel everyone should experience for either a nice dinner, overnight or a weekend is The Lodge at Geneva-on-the-Lake. The setting right on the shore of Lake Erie is great; the rooms are beautiful, they provide bikes for riding the trails and a trolly that will take you to local wineries. Everything is top notch and it is not just for summer. They are open year round.

GOTL is my happy place! I have been going to Geneva on the Lake since I was 10 years old and was lucky enough to be able to buy a house a couple of years ago there. I have done a lot of traveling and this is one of the most fun, friendliest placed I have been. Sunsets are absolutely beautiful. Some of my best memories are here!

Beautifully located on the shores of one of the Great Lakes, GOTL is a progressive, friendly and quaint small town with a lot of character. And if you're a geocacher, there are over 10 lcaches ocated close by in the Geneva State Park and there is the famous GOTL "Strip" cache which takes you to many of the local places and shows you some of the history of Ohio's oldest resort! Come visit and see for yourself!!!
