- Beaumont's THE place to go if you're looking for good food. What's unique about it? It's the perfect combination of Texas flare and Cajun kick. A staple around here is BBQ'ed crabs and spicy crawfish (we call 'em mudbugs). And if you haven't tried them before, no worries. Locals are more than happy to show you not only how good they are, but the best way to peel & eat them. Being on the Gulf of Mexico also means we have some of the best fresh seafood around. And, considering we're neighbors to Mexico, we tend to get rave reviews on our Mexican as well. My other favorite thing about Beaumont would have to be it's quirkiness. We've got the biggest alligator in captivity in the State of Texas (Certified by Texas Parks & Wildlife), a 24' dalmatian-spotted fire hydrant, a 20+ foot muffler man, loads of eclectic museums (19 to be exact) & plenty of outdoor activities. Our favorite outdoor fun includes: The Big Thicket National Preserve, the Neches River (hop on the guided, chartered boat ride by way of Riverfront Park), wakeboarding, canoeing & kayaking, cycling and more. We also have a very active running organization that plans some awesome races each year. Yep, I'm definitely proud to call Beaumont my home!

- Nestled in the corner of Southeast Texas, Beaumont offers a flare of southern hospitality with friendly folks and good food. Minutes from the Gulf of Mexico and the Louisiana boarder, there's plenty of diverse activities for adults and kids alike.

- Great hospitality. The food is awesome and there is so much to do from holding alligators to sun bathing at the beach.
